I am truly honored to receive recognition from the Foodelia International Food Photography Awards for this image created with @skillet_kl. After noticing the beautiful golden-hour light streaming through the restaurant window, I set out to recreate that same warmth and direction using artificial lighting. Captured at the precise moment the sauce cascades onto the salmon, this image reflects the balance of light, timing, and culinary artistry. My sincere thanks to Foodelia for this recognition and to @skillet_kl for the opportunity and trust to create this work. 🙏✨

I am truly honored to receive recognition from the Foodelia International Food Photography Awards for this image captured at Merdeka Grill, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. My heartfelt thanks to Foodelia for this recognition and to @parkhyatt_kl for the opportunity and trust to create and showcase this work. 🙏✨

Created for @nuerhongrestaurant, this shot captures the exact moment boiling oil is poured over the roasted duck. Using high-speed photography, the action was frozen at just the right second, showing every splash and flow of the hot oil in sharp detail. The lighting was carefully placed to bring out the shine of the oil and the rich color of the duck. A strong main light highlights the crispy skin and gives the oil a clean, glossy look, while softer back lighting helps separate the duck from the dark background and adds depth to the image. The duck looks incredibly appetizing with its deep golden-brown color, crispy textured skin, and glossy finish. The combination of movement, light, and texture turns a cooking moment into a dramatic and mouthwatering food photograph.

This image captures a BENNS chocolate bar at the moment it hits a rough cocoa surface, sending small pieces and powder flying into the air. The dark background and focused lighting highlight the rich texture of the chocolate and the movement of the scattered fragments. Simple yet dramatic, the photo shows the strength and quality of the product in a visually engaging way. Created for @benns.chocolate, it presents chocolate not just as food, but as something bold and beautifully crafted.
